Psalm 75
Peshitta Holy Bible Translated Par ▾
We praise you, oh God, we praise you, and we call upon your Name; we have narrated all your wonders.

Because I shall take the time and I shall judge in integrity.

The Earth will be humbled and all its inhabitants; you have fashioned its inhabitants.

You have said to the fools, "Do not be fools”, and to the wicked, "Do not lift up the trumpet,

Neither lift your trumpet to The Highest nor speak with a high neck."

For it does not proceed from the West neither from the wilderness of the mountains.

Because God is the Judge; he brings down this one and he raises that one.

For a cup is in the hand of LORD JEHOVAH and it is full of a mixture of wine; he lets down the dregs from this to each; all the wicked of the Earth will drain his dregs and will drink them.

And I shall live to eternity and I shall sing to the God of Jacob.

I shall dash all the trumpets of the wicked in pieces and the trumpets of the righteous will be lifted up.
