The Good Shepherd

A Davidic psalm.

1The LORD is my shepherd;a

there is nothing I lack.b

2He lets me lie down in green pastures;c

He leads me beside quiet waters.d

3He renews my life;

He leads me along the right pathse

for His name’s sake.f

4Even when I go through the darkest valley,g

I fear no danger,

for You are with me;h

Your rod and Your staffi — they comfort me.j

5You prepare a table before me

in the presence of my enemies;

You anoint my head with oil;k

my cup overflows.l

6Only goodness and faithful love will pursue me

all the days of my life,m

and I will dwell inn the house of the LORD

as long as I live.o, p
