Good News Translation
I have taken off the robes I wore during days of peace, and I have dressed myself like a person in mourning. I will cry out to the Eternal God for help as long as I live.

I have taken off the robe of peace and put on sackcloth for my supplication; I will cry to the Everlasting all my days.

I have taken off the clothes I wore during my time of peace, and I have put on the clothes that show I am in mourning. I will cry out to the eternal God until the day I die.
