ContextThe Way of Wisdom
…11If thou be wise, thou shalt be so to thyself: and if a scorner, thou alone shalt bear the evil. 12A foolish woman and clamorous, and full of allurements, and knowing nothing at all,
For every one shall bear his own burden.
Can man be compared with God, even though he were of perfect knowledge?
And if thou do justly, what shalt thou give him, or what shall he receive of thy hand?
A fool shall be filled with his own ways, and the good man shall be above him.
Judgments are prepared for scorners: and striking hammers for the bodies of fools.
