Good News Translation
All the kings, except David, Hezekiah, and Josiah, were terrible sinners, because they abandoned the Law of the Most High to the very end of the kingdom.

Except for David and Hezekiah and Josiah, all of them were great sinners, for they abandoned the law of the Most High; the kings of Judah came to an end.

David, Hezekiah, and Josiah were good kings, but the other kings of Judah sinned terribly and rejected the Law of God Most High. So he took away their kingdom
