Sirach 51:19
Good News Translation
I fought for Wisdom and was strict in my conduct. When I prayed, I sadly confessed how far short of Wisdom I fell.

My soul grappled with wisdom, and in my conduct I was strict; I spread out my hands to the heavens, and lamented my ignorance of her.

Whenever I had to struggle to follow her completely, I would lift my hands in prayer and tell God I was sorry I knew so little of Wisdom.
