Sirach 51:2
Good News Translation
for you have helped me and protected me. You have rescued me from death, from dangerous lies and slander.

for you have been my protector and helper and have delivered me from destruction and from the trap laid by a slanderous tongue, from lips that fabricate lies. In the face of my adversaries you have been my helper

for protection and help when I was in danger from enemies who tried to destroy me with cruel lies.

because you have ransomed my life from death; You held back my body from the pit, and delivered my foot from the power of Sheol.
