1Do you indeed speak righteousness, O rulers? Do you judge fairly, O you sons of men? 2No! In your heart you practice injustice; you deal out violence in the land. 3The wicked are corrupt from the womb; they go astray as soon as they are born, speaking lies. 4Their words are like the venom of a serpent; they are like the deaf cobra plugs its ear, 5And will not hear the voice of charmers, no matter how skillful the charmer. 6Break their teeth, O God, in their mouth; break out the fangs of these fierce young lions, O LORD. 7Let them melt away like water that runs off. When they shoot their arrows, let them be blunted and fall short. 8Like a slug that melts as it moves along, let every one of them pass away; like a stillborn child that will never see the sun. 9Before your pots can feel the thorns, God shall sweep them away like a whirlwind, both the green and the dry, in His wrath.

10The righteous shall rejoice when he sees he is avenged; as he washes his feet in the blood of the wicked. 11So that a man shall say, “Truly there is a reward for the righteous; He is indeed a God Who judges in the earth”.
