Psalm 92
Easy Reader Bible: Purple Letter EditionKJP

A Psalm or Song for the sabbath day.

1It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto Your name, O Most High; 2Proclaiming Your loving-kindness in the morning, and Your faithfulness every night, 3To the music of the ten stringed lyre, and the melody of the harp.

4For You, LORD, have made me glad by Your work; I sing for joy at the works of Your hands. 5O LORD, how great are Your works! And Your thoughts are very deep. 6A senseless man would not know, nor does a fool understand this. 7When the wicked spring up like weeds, and when all the workers of iniquity flourish, they shall be destroyed forever: 8But You, LORD, are most high for ever exalted. 9For surely Your enemies, O LORD, yea, all Your enemies shall perish; all the evildoers shall be scattered. 10But my horn You shall exalt like the horn of a wild ox; I shall be anointed with the finest oil. 11My eyes also shall the defeat of my enemies, and my ears shall hear of the demise of the wicked that rise against me.

12The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree; they shall grow like a cedar of Lebanon. 13For they are planted in the house of the LORD and shall flourish in the courts of our God. 14They shall still bear fruit in old age; they shall be stay fresh and green, 15To proclaim that the LORD is upright; He is my Rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him.
