| 1A Psalm of David. I will sing of Your loving devotion and justice; to You, O LORD, I will sing praises. | 1Of David. A psalm. I will sing of your love and justice; to you, LORD, I will sing praise. |
| 2I will ponder the way that is blameless—when will You come to me? I will walk in my house with integrity of heart. | 2I will be careful to lead a blameless life-- when will you come to me? I will conduct the affairs of my house with a blameless heart. |
| 3I will set no worthless thing before my eyes. I hate the work of those who fall away; it shall not cling to me. | 3I will not look with approval on anything that is vile. I hate what faithless people do; I will have no part in it. |
| 4A perverse heart shall depart from me; I will know nothing of evil. | 4The perverse of heart shall be far from me; I will have nothing to do with what is evil. |
