Galatians 6
ISV Parallel KJV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT GRK]
International Standard VersionKing James Bible
Brothers, if a person is caught doing something wrong, those of you who are spiritual should restore that person gently. Watch out for yourself so that you are not tempted as well. 1Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.
Practice carrying each other's burdens. In this way you will fulfill the law of the Messiah.2Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.
For if anyone thinks he is something when he is really nothing, he is only fooling himself. 3For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.
Each person must examine his own actions, and then he can boast about his own accomplishments and not about someone else. 4But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.
For everyone must carry his own load.5For every man shall bear his own burden.
The person who is taught the word should share all his goods with his teacher. 6Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things.
Stop being deceived; God is not to be ridiculed. A person harvests whatever he plants: 7Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
The person who sows through human means will harvest decay from human means, but the person who sows in the Spirit will harvest eternal life from the Spirit. 8For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
Let's not get tired of doing what is good, for at the right time we will reap a harvest—if we do not give up. 9And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
So then, whenever we have the opportunity, let's practice doing good to everyone, especially to the family of faith.10As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
Look at how large these letters are because I am writing with my own hand! 11Ye see how large a letter I have written unto you with mine own hand.
These people who want to impress others by their external appearance are trying to force you to be circumcised, simply to avoid being persecuted for the cross of the Messiah.12As many as desire to make a fair shew in the flesh, they constrain you to be circumcised; only lest they should suffer persecution for the cross of Christ.
Why, not even those who are circumcised obey the Law! They simply want you to be circumcised so that they can boast about your external appearance.13For neither they themselves who are circumcised keep the law; but desire to have you circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh.
But may I never boast about anything except the cross of our Lord Jesus, the Messiah, by which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world! 14But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.
For neither circumcision nor uncircumcision matters. Rather, what matters is being a new creation. 15For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.
Now may peace be on all those who live by this principle, and may mercy be on the Israel of God. 16And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.
Let no one make any more trouble for me, because I carry the scars of Jesus on my own body.17From henceforth let no man trouble me: for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus.
May the grace of our Lord Jesus, the Messiah, be with your spirit, brothers! Amen.18Brethren, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.
