ISV Parallel KJV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
International Standard VersionKing James Bible
Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his gracious love is eternal.1O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: because his mercy endureth for ever.
Let Israel now say, "His gracious love is eternal."2Let Israel now say, that his mercy endureth for ever.
Let the house of Aaron now say, "His gracious love is eternal."3Let the house of Aaron now say, that his mercy endureth for ever.
Let those who fear the LORD now say, "His gracious love is eternal."4Let them now that fear the LORD say, that his mercy endureth for ever.
I called on the LORD in my distress; the LORD answered me openly. 5I called upon the LORD in distress: the LORD answered me, and set me in a large place.
The LORD is with me. I will not be afraid. What can people do to me?6The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?
With the LORD beside me as my helper, I will triumph over those who hate me.7The LORD taketh my part with them that help me: therefore shall I see my desire upon them that hate me.
It is better to take shelter in the LORD than to trust in people.8It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.
It is better to take shelter in the LORD than to trust in princes.9It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes.
All the nations surrounded me; but in the name of the LORD I will defeat them.10All nations compassed me about: but in the name of the LORD will I destroy them.
They surrounded me, they are around me; but in the name of the LORD I will defeat them.11They compassed me about; yea, they compassed me about: but in the name of the LORD I will destroy them.
They surrounded me like bees; but they will be extinguished like burning thorns. In the name of the LORD I will defeat them.12They compassed me about like bees; they are quenched as the fire of thorns: for in the name of the LORD I will destroy them.
Indeed, you oppressed me so much that I nearly fell, but the LORD helped me.13Thou hast thrust sore at me that I might fall: but the LORD helped me.
The LORD is my strength and protector, for he has become my deliverer. 14The LORD is my strength and song, and is become my salvation.
There's exultation for deliverance in the tents of the righteous: "The right hand of the LORD is victorious! 15The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tabernacles of the righteous: the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.
The right hand of the LORD is exalted! The right hand of the LORD is victorious!" 16The right hand of the LORD is exalted: the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.
I will not die, but I will live to recount the deeds of the LORD.17I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD.
The LORD will discipline me severely, but he won't hand me over to die.18The LORD hath chastened me sore: but he hath not given me over unto death.
Open for me the righteous gates so I may enter through them to give thanks to the LORD.19Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will go into them, and I will praise the LORD:
This is the LORD's gate— The righteous will enter through it.20This gate of the LORD, into which the righteous shall enter.
I will praise you because you have answered me and have become my deliverer.21I will praise thee: for thou hast heard me, and art become my salvation.
The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone.22The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner.
This is from the LORD— it is awesome in our sight.23This is the LORD'S doing; it is marvellous in our eyes.
This is the day that the LORD has made; let's rejoice and be glad in it.24This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
Please LORD, deliver us! Please LORD, hurry and bring success now!25Save now, I beseech thee, O LORD: O LORD, I beseech thee, send now prosperity.
Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the LORD! Let us bless you from the LORD's house.26Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the LORD: we have blessed you out of the house of the LORD.
The LORD is God—he will be our light! Bind the festival sacrifice with ropes to the horn at the altar.27God is the LORD, which hath shewed us light: bind the sacrifice with cords, even unto the horns of the altar.
You are my God, and I will praise you; my God, and I will exalt you.28Thou art my God, and I will praise thee: thou art my God, I will exalt thee.
Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good and his gracious love is eternal.29O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
