Psalm 108
NASB Parallel NIV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
New American Standard Bible 1995New International Version
A Song, a Psalm of David. My heart is steadfast, O God; I will sing, I will sing praises, even with my soul.1A song. A psalm of David. My heart, O God, is steadfast; I will sing and make music with all my soul.
Awake, harp and lyre; I will awaken the dawn!2Awake, harp and lyre! I will awaken the dawn.
I will give thanks to You, O LORD, among the peoples, And I will sing praises to You among the nations.3I will praise you, LORD, among the nations; I will sing of you among the peoples.
For Your lovingkindness is great above the heavens, And Your truth reaches to the skies.4For great is your love, higher than the heavens; your faithfulness reaches to the skies.
Be exalted, O God, above the heavens, And Your glory above all the earth.5Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; let your glory be over all the earth.
That Your beloved may be delivered, Save with Your right hand, and answer me!6Save us and help us with your right hand, that those you love may be delivered.
God has spoken in His holiness: "I will exult, I will portion out Shechem And measure out the valley of Succoth.7God has spoken from his sanctuary: "In triumph I will parcel out Shechem and measure off the Valley of Sukkoth.
"Gilead is Mine, Manasseh is Mine; Ephraim also is the helmet of My head; Judah is My scepter.8Gilead is mine, Manasseh is mine; Ephraim is my helmet, Judah is my scepter.
"Moab is My washbowl; Over Edom I shall throw My shoe; Over Philistia I will shout aloud."9Moab is my washbasin, on Edom I toss my sandal; over Philistia I shout in triumph."
Who will bring me into the besieged city? Who will lead me to Edom?10Who will bring me to the fortified city? Who will lead me to Edom?
Have not You Yourself, O God, rejected us? And will You not go forth with our armies, O God?11Is it not you, God, you who have rejected us and no longer go out with our armies?
Oh give us help against the adversary, For deliverance by man is in vain.12Give us aid against the enemy, for human help is worthless.
Through God we will do valiantly, And it is He who shall tread down our adversaries.13With God we will gain the victory, and he will trample down our enemies.
