Psalm 121
NIV Parallel NET [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
New International VersionNET Bible
1A song of ascents. I lift up my eyes to the mountains-- where does my help come from?1A song of ascents. I look up toward the hills. From where does my help come?
2My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.2My help comes from the LORD, the Creator of heaven and earth!
3He will not let your foot slip-- he who watches over you will not slumber;3May he not allow your foot to slip! May your protector not sleep!
4indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.4Look! Israel's protector does not sleep or slumber!
5The LORD watches over you-- the LORD is your shade at your right hand;5The LORD is your protector; the LORD is the shade at your right hand.
6the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night.6The sun will not harm you by day, or the moon by night.
7The LORD will keep you from all harm-- he will watch over your life;7The LORD will protect you from all harm; he will protect your life.
8the LORD will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.8The LORD will protect you in all you do, now and forevermore.
