Psalm 108
NKJV Parallel ESV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
New King James VersionEnglish Standard Version
A Song. A Psalm of David. O God, my heart is steadfast; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory.1My heart is steadfast, O God! I will sing and make melody with all my being!
Awake, lute and harp! I will awaken the dawn.2Awake, O harp and lyre! I will awake the dawn!
I will praise You, O LORD, among the peoples, And I will sing praises to You among the nations.3I will give thanks to you, O LORD, among the peoples; I will sing praises to you among the nations.
For Your mercy is great above the heavens, And Your truth reaches to the clouds.4For your steadfast love is great above the heavens; your faithfulness reaches to the clouds.
Be exalted, O God, above the heavens, And Your glory above all the earth;5Be exalted, O God, above the heavens! Let your glory be over all the earth!
That Your beloved may be delivered, Save with Your right hand, and hear me.6That your beloved ones may be delivered, give salvation by your right hand and answer me!
God has spoken in His holiness: “I will rejoice; I will divide Shechem And measure out the Valley of Succoth.7God has promised in his holiness: “With exultation I will divide up Shechem and portion out the Valley of Succoth.
Gilead is Mine; Manasseh is Mine; Ephraim also is the helmet for My head; Judah is My lawgiver.8Gilead is mine; Manasseh is mine; Ephraim is my helmet, Judah my scepter.
Moab is My washpot; Over Edom I will cast My shoe; Over Philistia I will triumph.”9Moab is my washbasin; upon Edom I cast my shoe; over Philistia I shout in triumph.”
Who will bring me into the strong city? Who will lead me to Edom?10Who will bring me to the fortified city? Who will lead me to Edom?
Is it not You, O God, who cast us off? And You, O God, who did not go out with our armies?11Have you not rejected us, O God? You do not go out, O God, with our armies.
Give us help from trouble, For the help of man is useless.12Oh grant us help against the foe, for vain is the salvation of man!
Through God we will do valiantly, For it is He who shall tread down our enemies.13With God we shall do valiantly; it is he who will tread down our foes.
