1The LORD reigns; Let the earth rejoice; Let the multitude of isles be glad!1יְהוָ֣ה מָ֭לָךְ תָּגֵ֣ל הָאָ֑רֶץ יִ֝שְׂמְח֗וּ אִיִּ֥ים רַבִּֽים׃
2Clouds and darkness surround Him; Righteousness and justice are the foundation of His throne.2עָנָ֣ן וַעֲרָפֶ֣ל סְבִיבָ֑יו צֶ֥דֶק וּ֝מִשְׁפָּ֗ט מְכ֣וֹן כִּסְאֽוֹ׃
3A fire goes before Him, And burns up His enemies round about.3אֵ֭שׁ לְפָנָ֣יו תֵּלֵ֑ךְ וּתְלַהֵ֖ט סָבִ֣יב צָרָֽיו׃
4His lightnings light the world; The earth sees and trembles.4הֵאִ֣ירוּ בְרָקָ֣יו תֵּבֵ֑ל רָאֲתָ֖ה וַתָּחֵ֣ל הָאָֽרֶץ׃
5The mountains melt like wax at the presence of the LORD, At the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.5הָרִ֗ים כַּדּוֹנַ֗ג נָ֭מַסּוּ מִלִּפְנֵ֣י יְהוָ֑ה מִ֝לִּפְנֵ֗י אֲד֣וֹן כָּל־ הָאָֽרֶץ׃
6The heavens declare His righteousness, And all the peoples see His glory.6הִגִּ֣ידוּ הַשָּׁמַ֣יִם צִדְק֑וֹ וְרָא֖וּ כָל־ הָעַמִּ֣ים כְּבוֹדֽוֹ׃
7Let all be put to shame who serve carved images, Who boast of idols. Worship Him, all you gods.7יֵבֹ֤שׁוּ ׀ כָּל־ עֹ֬בְדֵי פֶ֗סֶל הַמִּֽתְהַלְלִ֥ים בָּאֱלִילִ֑ים הִשְׁתַּחֲווּ־ ל֝וֹ כָּל־ אֱלֹהִֽים׃
8Zion hears and is glad, And the daughters of Judah rejoice Because of Your judgments, O LORD.8שָׁמְעָ֬ה וַתִּשְׂמַ֨ח ׀ צִיּ֗וֹן וַ֭תָּגֵלְנָה בְּנ֣וֹת יְהוּדָ֑ה לְמַ֖עַן מִשְׁפָּטֶ֣יךָ יְהוָֽה׃
9For You, LORD, are most high above all the earth; You are exalted far above all gods.9כִּֽי־ אַתָּ֤ה יְהוָ֗ה עֶלְי֥וֹן עַל־ כָּל־ הָאָ֑רֶץ מְאֹ֥ד נַ֝עֲלֵ֗יתָ עַל־ כָּל־ אֱלֹהִֽים׃
10You who love the LORD, hate evil! He preserves the souls of His saints; He delivers them out of the hand of the wicked.10אֹהֲבֵ֥י יְהוָ֗ה שִׂנְא֫וּ רָ֥ע שֹׁ֭מֵר נַפְשׁ֣וֹת חֲסִידָ֑יו מִיַּ֥ד רְ֝שָׁעִ֗ים יַצִּילֵֽם׃
11Light is sown for the righteous, And gladness for the upright in heart.11א֭וֹר זָרֻ֣עַ לַצַּדִּ֑יק וּֽלְיִשְׁרֵי־ לֵ֥ב שִׂמְחָֽה׃
12Rejoice in the LORD, you righteous, And give thanks at the remembrance of His holy name.12שִׂמְח֣וּ צַ֭דִּיקִים בַּֽיהוָ֑ה וְ֝הוֹד֗וּ לְזֵ֣כֶר קָדְשֽׁוֹ׃
