A Psalm of David. The LORD said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand, Till I make Your enemies Your footstool.”1A Psalm of David. The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.
The LORD shall send the rod of Your strength out of Zion. Rule in the midst of Your enemies!2The LORD shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.
Your people shall be volunteers In the day of Your power; In the beauties of holiness, from the womb of the morning, You have the dew of Your youth.3Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth.
The LORD has sworn And will not relent, “You are a priest forever According to the order of Melchizedek.”4The LORD hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.
The Lord is at Your right hand; He shall execute kings in the day of His wrath.5The Lord at thy right hand shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath.
He shall judge among the nations, He shall fill the places with dead bodies, He shall execute the heads of many countries.6He shall judge among the heathen, he shall fill the places with the dead bodies; he shall wound the heads over many countries.
He shall drink of the brook by the wayside; Therefore He shall lift up the head.7He shall drink of the brook in the way: therefore shall he lift up the head.
