New King James VersionNew Living Translation
A Psalm of David. I will praise You with my whole heart; Before the gods I will sing praises to You.1I give you thanks, O LORD, with all my heart; I will sing your praises before the gods.
I will worship toward Your holy temple, And praise Your name For Your lovingkindness and Your truth; For You have magnified Your word above all Your name.2I bow before your holy Temple as I worship. I praise your name for your unfailing love and faithfulness; for your promises are backed by all the honor of your name.
In the day when I cried out, You answered me, And made me bold with strength in my soul.3As soon as I pray, you answer me; you encourage me by giving me strength.
All the kings of the earth shall praise You, O LORD, When they hear the words of Your mouth.4Every king in all the earth will thank you, LORD, for all of them will hear your words.
Yes, they shall sing of the ways of the LORD, For great is the glory of the LORD.5Yes, they will sing about the LORD’s ways, for the glory of the LORD is very great.
Though the LORD is on high, Yet He regards the lowly; But the proud He knows from afar.6Though the LORD is great, he cares for the humble, but he keeps his distance from the proud.
Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me; You will stretch out Your hand Against the wrath of my enemies, And Your right hand will save me.7Though I am surrounded by troubles, you will protect me from the anger of my enemies. You reach out your hand, and the power of your right hand saves me.
The LORD will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O LORD, endures forever; Do not forsake the works of Your hands.8The LORD will work out his plans for my life— for your faithful love, O LORD, endures forever. Don’t abandon me, for you made me.
