1 And God blessed Noah and his sons and said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth. And God blessed Noah and his sons and said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth. 2 The fear and dread of you will fall on every living creature on the earth, every bird of the air, every creature that crawls on the ground, and all the fish of the sea. The fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth and upon every bird of the heavens, upon everything that creeps on the ground and all the fish of the sea. Into your hand they are delivered. And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth, and upon every fowl of the air, upon all that moveth <i>upon</i> the earth, and upon all the fishes of the sea; into your hand are they delivered. The fear of you and the terror of you will be on every animal of the earth and on every bird of the sky; on everything that crawls on the ground, and on all the fish of the sea. They are handed over to you. The fear and dread of you will fall on all the beasts of the earth, and on all the birds in the sky, on every creature that moves along the ground, and on all the fish in the sea; they are given into your hands.
3 Everything that lives and moves will be food for you; just as I gave you the green plants, I now give you all things. Every moving thing that lives shall be food for you. And as I gave you the green plants, I give you everything. Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things. Every moving thing that is alive shall be food for you; I have given everything to you, as <i>I gave</i> the green plant. Everything that lives and moves about will be food for you. Just as I gave you the green plants, I now give you everything.
4 But you must not eat meat with its lifeblood still in it. But you shall not eat flesh with its life, that is, its blood. But flesh with the life thereof, <i>which is</i> the blood thereof, shall ye not eat. But you shall not eat flesh with its life, <i>that is,</i> its blood. “But you must not eat meat that has its lifeblood still in it.
5 And surely I will require the life of any man or beast by whose hand your lifeblood is shed. I will demand an accounting from anyone who takes the life of his fellow man: And for your lifeblood I will require a reckoning: from every beast I will require it and from man. From his fellow man I will require a reckoning for the life of man. And surely your blood of your lives will I require; at the hand of every beast will I require it, and at the hand of man; at the hand of every man's brother will I require the life of man. I certainly will require your lifeblood; from every animal I will require it. And from <i>every</i> person, from every man <i>as</i> his brother I will require the life of a person. And for your lifeblood I will surely demand an accounting. I will demand an accounting from every animal. And from each human being, too, I will demand an accounting for the life of another human being.
6 Whoever sheds the blood of man, by man his blood will be shed; for in His own image God has made mankind. “Whoever sheds the blood of man, by man shall his blood be shed, for God made man in his own image. Whoso sheddeth man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man. “Whoever sheds human blood, By man his blood shall be shed, For in the image of God He made mankind. “Whoever sheds human blood, by humans shall their blood be shed; for in the image of God has God made mankind.
7 But as for you, be fruitful and multiply; spread out across the earth and multiply upon it.” And you, be fruitful and multiply, increase greatly on the earth and multiply in it.” And you, be ye fruitful, and multiply; bring forth abundantly in the earth, and multiply therein. “As for you, be fruitful and multiply; Populate the earth abundantly and multiply in it.” As for you, be fruitful and increase in number; multiply on the earth and increase upon it.”

9 “Behold, I now establish My covenant with you and your descendants after you, “Behold, I establish my covenant with you and your offspring after you, And I, behold, I establish my covenant with you, and with your seed after you; “Now behold, I Myself am establishing My covenant with you, and with your descendants after you; “I now establish my covenant with you and with your descendants after you
10 and with every living creature that was with you— the birds, the livestock, and every beast of the earth — every living thing that came out of the ark. and with every living creature that is with you, the birds, the livestock, and every beast of the earth with you, as many as came out of the ark; it is for every beast of the earth. And with every living creature that <i>is</i> with you, of the fowl, of the cattle, and of every beast of the earth with you; from all that go out of the ark, to every beast of the earth. and with every living creature that is with you: the birds, the livestock, and every animal of the earth with you; of all that comes out of the ark, every animal of the earth. and with every living creature that was with you—the birds, the livestock and all the wild animals, all those that came out of the ark with you—every living creature on earth.
11 And I establish My covenant with you: Never again will all life be cut off by the waters of a flood; never again will there be a flood to destroy the earth.” I establish my covenant with you, that never again shall all flesh be cut off by the waters of the flood, and never again shall there be a flood to destroy the earth.” And I will establish my covenant with you; neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of a flood; neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth. I establish My covenant with you; and all flesh shall never again be eliminated by the waters of a flood, nor shall there again be a flood to destroy the earth.” I establish my covenant with you: Never again will all life be destroyed by the waters of a flood; never again will there be a flood to destroy the earth.”
12 And God said, “This is the sign of the covenant I am making between Me and you and every living creature with you, a covenant for all generations to come: And God said, “This is the sign of the covenant that I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for all future generations: And God said, This <i>is</i> the token of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that <i>is</i> with you, for perpetual generations: God said, “This is the sign of the covenant which I am making between Me and you and every living creature that is with you, for all future generations; And God said, “This is the sign of the covenant I am making between me and you and every living creature with you, a covenant for all generations to come:
13 I have set My rainbow in the clouds, and it will be a sign of the covenant between Me and the earth. I have set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be a sign of the covenant between me and the earth. I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth. I have set My rainbow in the cloud, and it shall serve as a sign of a covenant between Me and the earth. I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth.
14 Whenever I form clouds over the earth and the rainbow appears in the clouds, When I bring clouds over the earth and the bow is seen in the clouds, And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud: It shall come about, when I make a cloud appear over the earth, that the rainbow will be seen in the cloud, Whenever I bring clouds over the earth and the rainbow appears in the clouds,
15 I will remember My covenant between Me and you and every living creature of every kind. Never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all life. I will remember my covenant that is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh. And the waters shall never again become a flood to destroy all flesh. And I will remember my covenant, which <i>is</i> between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh. and I will remember My covenant, which is between Me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and never again shall the water become a flood to destroy all flesh. I will remember my covenant between me and you and all living creatures of every kind. Never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all life.
16 And whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of every kind that is on the earth.” When the bow is in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is on the earth.” And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that <i>is</i> upon the earth. When the rainbow is in the cloud, then I will look at it, to remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is on the earth.” Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth.”
17 So God said to Noah, “This is the sign of the covenant that I have established between Me and every creature on the earth.” God said to Noah, “This is the sign of the covenant that I have established between me and all flesh that is on the earth.” And God said unto Noah, This <i>is</i> the token of the covenant, which I have established between me and all flesh that <i>is</i> upon the earth. And God said to Noah, “This is the sign of the covenant which I have established between Me and all flesh that is on the earth.” So God said to Noah, “This is the sign of the covenant I have established between me and all life on the earth.”
18 The sons of Noah who came out of the ark were Shem, Ham, and Japheth. And Ham was the father of Canaan. The sons of Noah who went forth from the ark were Shem, Ham, and Japheth. (Ham was the father of Canaan.) And the sons of Noah, that went forth of the ark, were Shem, and Ham, and Japheth: and Ham <i>is</i> the father of Canaan. Now the sons of Noah who came out of the ark were Shem, Ham, and Japheth; and Ham was the father of Canaan. The sons of Noah who came out of the ark were Shem, Ham and Japheth. (Ham was the father of Canaan.)
19 These three were the sons of Noah, and from them the whole earth was populated. These three were the sons of Noah, and from these the people of the whole earth were dispersed. 24 When Noah awoke from his drunkenness and learned what his youngest son had done to him, When Noah awoke from his wine and knew what his youngest son had done to him, And Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his younger son had done unto him. 25 he said, “Cursed be Canaan! A servant of servants shall he be to his brothers.” he said, “Cursed be Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be to his brothers.” And he said, Cursed <i>be</i> Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren. So he said, “Cursed be Canaan; A servant of servants He shall be to his brothers.” he said, “Cursed be Canaan! The lowest of slaves will he be to his brothers.”
26 He also declared: “Blessed be the LORD, the God of Shem! May Canaan be the servant of Shem. He also said, “Blessed be the LORD, the God of Shem; and let Canaan be his servant. And he said, Blessed <i>be</i> the LORD God of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant. He also said, “Blessed be the LORD, The God of Shem; And may Canaan be his servant. He also said, “Praise be to the LORD, the God of Shem! May Canaan be the slave of Shem.
27 May God expand the territory of Japheth; may he dwell in the tents of Shem, and may Canaan be his servant.” May God enlarge Japheth, and let him dwell in the tents of Shem, and let Canaan be his servant.” God shall enlarge Japheth, and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant. “May God enlarge Japheth, And may he live in the tents of Shem; And may Canaan be his servant.” May God extend Japheth’s territory; may Japheth live in the tents of Shem, and may Canaan be the slave of Japheth.”
28 After the flood, Noah lived 350 years. After the flood Noah lived 350 years. And Noah lived after the flood three hundred and fifty years. Noah lived 350 years after the flood. After the flood Noah lived 350 years.
29 So Noah lived a total of 950 years, and then he died. All the days of Noah were 950 years, and he died. And all the days of Noah were nine hundred and fifty years: and he died. So all the days of Noah were 950 years, and he died. Noah lived a total of 950 years, and then he died.
