26 Jesus answered, he it is, to whom I shall give a sop, when I have made it, and when he had made the sop, he gave it to Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon. 27 and after he had taken the sop, Satan entred into him, then said Jesus to him, what you do, do quickly. 28 but the company at table did not know what he meant by saying so. 29 for as Judas had the purse, some of them thought, that Jesus had ordered him to buy what was necessary against the feast: or give something to the poor. 30 Judas then having received the sop, immediately went out: and it was night. 31 When he was gone, Jesus said, now is the son of man glorified, and God is glorified by him. 32 as God is glorified by him, so God will glorify him in himself, and will immediately glorify him. 33 my dear children, I am with you but for a little while, you shall seek me: but as I said to the Jews, so now I say to you, "where I am going you cannot come." 34 a new commandment I give unto you, "that ye love one another; that you would have the same love for one another as I have had for you." 35 by this mutual love shall all men know that you are my disciples. 36 Simon Peter said to him, Lord, where are you going? Jesus answered him, you cannot at present follow me, where I am going; but hereafter you shall. 37 Peter said to him, Lord, why can't I follow you now? I will lay down my life for your sake. 38 Jesus answered him, you lay down your life for my sake! Verily, verily I say unto thee, the cock shall not crow, till thou hast denied me thrice.
