3 He left Judaea and came again to Galilee. 4 He had to go through Samaritan territory. 5 Then he came to a Samaritan city, called Sychar, near the field which Jacob had given to his son Joseph. 6 Now Jacob’s well was there; and Jesus was tired by the fatigue of the journey, and sat down by the well.
