John 7:45-49 ▼

45 Therefore the officers came to the chief priests and Pharisees, and they said to them, “Why did you⁺ not bring Him?”

46 The officers answered, “Never did a man speak thus, as this man speaks!”

47 Therefore the Pharisees answered them, “Have you⁺ also been deceived?

48 Did anyone out of the rulers or out of the Pharisees believe in Him?

49 But this crowd, not knowing the law, they are accursed.”
