Mark 3:1-15 ▼

1 And He entered into the synagogue again, and a man having a withered hand was there.

2 And they were watching Him, whether He will heal him on the Sabbaths, so that they might accuse Him.

3 And He says to the man having the withered hand, “Arise into the midst.”

4 And He says to them, “Is it lawful on the Sabbaths to do good or to do evil, to save life or to kill?” But they were silent.

5 And having looked around at them with anger, being grieved at the hardness of their heart, He says to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” And he stretched it out, and his hand was restored.

6 And the Pharisees, having gone out, immediately were taking counsel with the Herodians against Him, how they might destroy Him.

7 And Jesus withdrew with His disciples to the sea, and a great multitude from Galilee followed, and from Judea,

8 and from Jerusalem, and from Idumea, and beyond the Jordan, and around Tyre and Sidon. A great multitude, having heard how much He was doing, came to Him.

9 And He spoke to His disciples so that a boat may wait on Him because of the crowd, so that they might not press upon Him.

10 For He healed many, so as for as many as had afflictions to fall upon Him so that they might touch Him.

11 And the unclean spirits, when they were seeing Him, were falling down before Him and crying out, saying, “You are the Son of God!”

12 And He was warning them much that they should not make Him known.

13 And He goes up onto the mountain, and He summons those whom He Himself was wanting, and they went away to Him.

14 And He appointed twelve, whom also He named apostles, that they might be with Him and that He might send them to preach

15 and to have authority to cast out demons.
