Mark 3:1-9 ▼

1 And He entered again into the synagogue; and there was a man there, having his hand withered.

2 And they were watching Him, whether He would heal him on the sabbath; that they might accuse Him.

3 And He saith to the man having the withered hand, "Arise in the midst."

4 And He saith to them, "Is it lawful on the sabbath to do good, or to do harm, to save a life, or to kill?" But they were silent.

5 And having looked round about on them with anger, and being grieved at the hardness of their heart, He saith to the man, "Stretch forth your hand." And he stretched it forth; and his hand was restored.

6 And the Pharisees, having gone out, were straightway taking counsel with the Herodians against Him, how they might destroy Him.

7 And Jesus with His disciples withdrew to the sea; and a great multitude from Galilee followed Him ; and from Judaea,

8 and from Jerusalem, and from Idumaea, and beyond the Jordan, and about Tyre and Sidon, a great multitude, hearing what things He was doing, came to Him.

9 And He spake to His disciples, that a little boat should wait, on Him, lest they should throng Him;
