38 And He Himself was in the stern, sleeping on the cushion; and they awake Him, and say to Him, "Teacher, is it no concern to Thee that we perish?"

39 And, having been roused up, He rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, "Peace! be still!" And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.

40 And He said to them, "Why are ye fearful? Have ye not yet faith?"

41 And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, "Who, then, is This, that even the wind and the sea obey Him!"
