1Then Moses assembled all the Israelites, and said, “This is what the LORD has commanded you to do: 2Six days in the week you shall work; but the seventh day shall be a holy day to you, a Sabbath of rest to the LORD: whoever works on that day shall be put to death. 3You shall not even light a fire in any of your dwellings on the Sabbath day.”

4And Moses said to all the Israelite community,: “This is what the LORD commanded: 5Take an offering unto the LORD from among you. Whoever is of a willing heart, let him bring it as an offering to the LORD - gold, silver, or bronze, 6Blue, purple, scarlet, fine linen, and goats' hair, 7Rams' skins dyed red, badgers' skins, acacia wood, 8Oil for the light, spices for the anointing oil and for the sweet incense, 9Onyx stones and other gems for the ephod and for the breastplate. 10Every skillful man among you shall come, and make all that the LORD has commanded to be made: 11The tabernacle, with its tent and its covering, clasps, boards, bars,  posts, and its sockets; 12The ark, and its staves, with the mercy seat, and the veil of the covering; 13The table, and its staves, and all its utensils, and the showbread; 14The lampstand for the light, and its furniture, and its lamps, with the oil for the light; 15And the incense altar, and its staves, the anointing oil, the sweet incense; the hanging for the door at the entrance of the Tabernacle; 16The altar of burnt offering, with its bronze grate, its staves, and all its vessels; the basin and its base; 17The hangings of the court, its  posts, and sockets, and the hanging for the door of the court; 18The pins of the Tabernacle, and the pins of the court, and their cords; 19The sacred woven garments to be worn by Aaron and his sons when they minister in the priest's office in the sanctuary - the holy place.

20And then all the congregation of the Israelites returned to their tents. 21And then every one whose heart stirred him, and those whose spirit made him willing, came and brought their offerings to the LORD for the work of the Tabernacle, for all its service, and for the holy garments. 22They came - both men and women - as many as had willing hearts; and brought bracelets, earrings, rings, and necklaces - all jewels of gold. And every man who offered brought offerings of gold unto the LORD. 23And everyone who had blue, purple, scarlet, fine linen, goats' hair, red skins of rams, and badgers' skins, brought them. 24Everyone that offered an offering of silver and bronze brought the LORD's offering; and every man, with whom was found acacia wood for any work of the service, brought it. 25And all the women that were skilled did spin with their hands, and brought that which they had spun, of blue, purple, scarlet, and of fine linen. 26And all the women whose heart stirred them up in wisdom, spun goats' hair. 27And the leaders brought onyx stones, and other gemstones to be set - for the ephod, and for the breastplate; 28As well as spice, and oil for the light, and for the anointing oil, and for the sweet incense. 29And so the Israelites brought a willing offering unto the LORD - every man and woman whose heart made them willing - to freely bring all manner of materials the articles which the LORD had commanded, through Moses, to be made.

30And Moses said to the Israelites, “The LORD has called by name Bezalel, son of Uri, son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah; 31And He has filled him with the Spirit of God, with wisdom, understanding, knowledge, and in all manner of skills - 32To design and make beautifully works of art - in gold, silver, and in bronze, 33As well as cutting and setting of stones, and in carving of wood, and in all manner of skillful work. 34And He has put in his heart so that both he, and Oholiab, son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan, may teach others. 35He has filled them with wisdom of heart, to perform all manner of work - of an engraver, and other skillful crafts; as embroiderers in blue, purple, scarlet, and fine linen, of weaving, and whatever type of skillful design or work is needed.”
