A Psalm of David 1Fools have said in their heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, and do vile deeds; there is none that does good. 2God looks down from heaven upon all mankind, to see if there are any that understand, and seek Him. 3They have all turned aside, and become altogether filthy. There is none that does good - no, not one. 4Do these evil-doers know nothing that devour My people as if they were eating bread? They never think of consulting Me through prayer. 5There you (My people) are, shaking with fear, when there is nothing to fear; because I have routed your enemies that had besieged you. You have seen them put to shame, because God has despised them. 6Oh, that the salvation of Israel would come out of Zion! When God restores the captivity of His people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.
