Christ's Birth in an Inn
Luke 2:4
And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem…


Christ was born in an inn, to intimate —

(1)  That He was homeless in this world;

(2)  that He was a pilgrim on earth, as we ought to be;

(3)  that He welcomes all comers, and entertains them, but without money and without price.
