Mark 6:3-4 Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of James, and Joses, and of Juda, and Simon?… The Divine Carpenter applies the language of His earthly trade to the spiritual things He has created. 1. He has built a Church. 2. He has founded the resurrection — "Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up." 3. He has established His divinity — "The stone which the builders rejected has become the head of the corner." 4. He has prepared our eternal home — "In My Father's house," etc. 5.
