The sin of mocking —

I.  WEAKENS EVERY VIRTOUS RESTRAINT.

II.  STRENGTHENS VICIOUS PROPENSITIES.

III.  GIVES GREAT ADVANTAGE TO YOUR WORST ENEMIES.

IV.  EXPOSES TO PECULIAR MARKS OF GOD'S DISPLEASURE (2 Kings 2:23).

V.  TERMINATES IN REMEDILESS WOE (Isaiah 66:3, 4; Proverbs 1:25, 26).
