Things Indifferent
Romans 14:13-15
Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather…

I. WHAT THINGS ARE INDIFFERENT? Things —

1. Not forbidden.

2. That have in themselves no moral value.

3. That are clearly ascertained as such by an enlightened conscience.

II. WHEN DO THEY CEASE TO BE SO?

1. When they become a stumbling-block to others.

2. When they infringe the law of love.

3. When they oppose the work of Christ — when they occasion reproach.

(J. Lyth, D.D.)
