Man Compared to Grass
1 Peter 1:24-25
For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass wither, and the flower thereof falls away:…


We are like "grass."

1. We are like grass in our relation to the earth.

2. We are like grass in the frailty of our nature.

3. We are like grass in the uncertainty of our lives. The blade dies in all seasons.

4. We are like grass in the unnoticeableness of our dissolution. Blade after blade withers and dies, and the landscape appears as ever.
