Isaiah 58:1-4 Cry aloud, spare not, lift up your voice like a trumpet, and show my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins.… When our Lord Jesus, promised to send the Comforter, He added, "When He is come, He shall convince;" for conviction must prepare for comfort, and must also separate between the precious and the vile, and mark out those to whom comfort doth not belong.
