God's Enemies and His Treatment of Them

Isaiah 1:24
Therefore said the LORD, the LORD of hosts, the mighty One of Israel, Ah, I will ease me of my adversaries…

I. WICKED PEOPLE, ESPECIALLY WICKED RULERS THAT ARE CRUEL AND OPPRESSIVE, ARE GOD'S ENEMIES.

II. THEY ARE A SUDDEN TO THE GOD OF HEAVEN. This is implied in His easing Himself of them.

III. GOD WILL FIND OUT TIME AND WAY TO EASE HIMSELF OF THIS BURDEN.
