2 Timothy 3
Berean Literal Bible

Evil in the Last Days

1But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will be present. 2For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boasters, proud, verbally abusive, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3unloving, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, savage, haters of good, 4betrayers, reckless, puffed up, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5having a form of godliness but denying its power. And turn away from these.

6For out of this sort are those entering into households and taking captive weak women, burdened with sins, being led away by various passions, 7always learning and never being able to come to a knowledge of the truth. 8Now as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so also these oppose the truth, men being depraved in mind, disqualified regarding the faith. 9But they will not advance much further, for their folly will be plain to all, as also that of those two became.

All Scripture is God-Breathed

10But you have closely followed my teaching, conduct, purpose, faith, patience, love, endurance, 11persecutions, sufferings such as happened to me in Antioch, in Iconium, in Lystra; what manner of persecutions I endured! And yet the Lord delivered me out of all. 12And all also desiring to live piously in Christ Jesus will be persecuted. 13But evil men and imposters will advance to worse, deceiving and being deceived.

14But you, abide in the things you have learned and have been assured of, having known from whom you learned them, 15and that from childhood you have known the sacred writings, being able to make you wise unto salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. 16Every Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for instruction, for conviction, for correction, and for training in righteousness, 17so that the man of God may be complete, having been fully equipped toward every good work.
