Bless Yahweh, O My Soul

1 Bless, O my soul, YHWH,

and all within me—His holy name!

2O my soul, bless YHWH,

and do not forget all His benefits—

3the One forgiving all your iniquities,

the One healing all your diseases,

4the One redeeming your life from destruction,

the One crowning you with loving devotion and compassion,

5the One filling your beauty with the good;

your youth is renewed like the eagle.

6YHWH is doing righteousness

and justice for all being oppressed.

7He made known His ways to Moses,

His deeds to the sons of Israel.

8Compassionate and gracious is YHWH,

slow to anger and abounding in loving devotion.

9He will not contend forever,

and He will not keep it forever.

10He has not done to us according to our sins,

and He has not dealt with us according to our iniquities.

11For as the heavens are high above the earth,

so His loving devotion is mighty for those fearing Him.

12As far as the east is from the west,

so has He put our transgressions far from us.

13As a father has compassion for his children,

so YHWH has compassion for those fearing Him.

14For He knows our form;

He remembers that we are dust.

15A man—his days are like grass;

like the flower of the field, so he blossoms;

16For the wind passes over it, and it is no more;

and its place does not recognize it anymore.

17But the loving devotion of YHWH is from forever and even to forever

upon those fearing Him,

and His righteousness to the sons of the sons—

18to those keeping His covenant,

and to those remembering His precepts, to do them.

19YHWH has established His throne in the heavens,

and His kingdom rules over all.

20Bless YHWH, His angels, mighty of strength,

doing His word,

to listen to the voice of His word.

21Bless YHWH, all His hosts,

His ministering ones doing His pleasure.

22Bless YHWH, all His works,

in all places of His dominion.

O my soul, bless YHWH!
