Yahweh Is My Strength 1Of David. 1 To You, O YHWH, I call out. O my Rock, do not be deaf to me, lest You be silent to me and I be likened with those descending to the Pit. 2May You hear the voice of my supplications, in my crying out to You, in my lifting up my hands toward Your holy sanctuary.† 3Do not drag me away with the wicked, and with the workers of iniquity, those speaking peace with their neighbors, 4Give to them according to their doing, and according to the evil of their deeds! According to the work of their hands, give to them; 5For they do not have regard toward the works of YHWH, and toward the deed of His hands; He shall overthrow them, 6Blessed be YHWH, for He has heard the voice of my supplications. 7YHWH is my strength and my shield; in Him my heart trusts, and I am helped; so my heart rejoices, and with my song I will give thanks to Him. 8YHWH is the strength for them; and He is a stronghold of salvation for His anointed. 9May You save Your people and bless Your inheritance, and shepherd them and carry them, even to forever.
