Clap Your Hands, All You Peoples 1For the one directing. Of the sons of Korah. A Psalm. 1 All you peoples, clap your hands; shout unto God, with a voice of a ringing cry! 2For YHWH-Elyon† is to be feared; He is the great King over all the earth. 3He turns back the peoples under us, and the nations under our feet. 4He chose for us our inheritance, the excellence of Jacob, whom He loves. 5God has gone up with a shout, YHWH with the voice of a shofar. 6Sing praises to God, sing praises! Sing praises to our King, sing praises! 7For the King of all the earth is God— sing praises with skill!† 8God reigns over the nations; God sits upon the throne of His holiness. 9The princes of the peoples have gathered together, the people of the God of Abraham; for the shields of the earth are unto God— He is greatly to be exalted.
