Good News Translation
Look to the east, Jerusalem, and see the joy that God is bringing to you.

Look toward the east, O Jerusalem, and see the joy that is coming to you from God.

Jerusalem, look toward the east and be glad, because God is bringing your children home! They were once dragged away as captives, yet at his command they are now gathered together from the east and the west and are praising God's glorious power.
