Baruch 4:6
Good News Translation
You were sold to Gentile nations, but not to be destroyed. Because you made God angry, he handed you over to your enemies.

It was not for destruction that you were sold to the nations, but you were handed over to your enemies because you angered God.

You were not sold to enemy nations to be destroyed. Instead, those nations dragged you away as captives because you did things that God hated.
