If he is poor, do not keep it overnight;

But if he be poor, the pledge shall not lodge with thee that night,
Deuteronomy 24:17 Thou shalt not pervert the judgment of the stranger nor of the fatherless, neither shalt thou take away the widow's raiment for a pledge.
Job 22:6 For thou hast taken away the pledge of thy brethren without cause, and stripped them naked of their clothing.
Job 24:3,9 They have driven away the ass of the fatherless, and have taken away the widow's ox for a pledge. . . .
…11But thou shalt stand without, and he shall bring out to thee what he hath. 12But if he be poor, the pledge shall not lodge with thee that night,13But thou shalt restore it to him presently before the going down of the sun: that he may sleep in his own raiment and bless thee, and thou mayst have justice before the Lord thy God.…
