Esther 9:25
Good News Translation
But Esther went to the king, and the king issued written orders with the result that Haman suffered the fate he had planned for the Jews--he and his sons were hanged from the gallows.

New Revised Standard Version
but when Esther came before the king, he gave orders in writing that the wicked plot that he had devised against the Jews should come upon his own head, and that he and his sons should be hanged on the gallows.

Contemporary English Version
Esther went to King Xerxes and asked him to save her people. Then the king gave written orders for Haman and his sons to be punished in the same terrible way that Haman had in mind for the Jews. So they were hanged.
