All your fighting men are to cross the Jordan and under the command of the LORD they are to attack our enemies until the LORD defeats them

and all those of you who bear arms cross the Jordan before the LORD, until he has driven out his enemies from before him

You also agreed to cross the Jordan and stay with the rest of the Israelites, until the LORD forces our enemies out of the land. If you do these things,
