Sirach 3:27
Good News Translation
A stubborn person will be burdened down with troubles. Sinners go on adding one sin to another.

When calamity befalls the proud, there is no healing, for an evil plant has taken root in him.

Those who are stubborn are burdened with suffering, and sinners carry a heavy load of sins.
