Sirach 3:28
Good News Translation
There is no cure for the troubles that arrogant people have; wickedness has taken deep root in them.

The mind of the intelligent appreciates proverbs, and an attentive ear is the desire of the wise.

Evil has taken root inside the arrogant, and so when disaster strikes, they cannot be rescued.
