Ezekiel 1:28
Parallel Verses
New American Standard Bible
As the appearance of the rainbow in the clouds on a rainy day, so was the appearance of the surrounding radiance. Such was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD. And when I saw it, I fell on my face and heard a voice speaking.

King James Bible
As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness round about. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD. And when I saw it, I fell upon my face, and I heard a voice of one that spake.

Darby Bible Translation
As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness round about. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of Jehovah. And when I saw, I fell on my face, and I heard a voice of one that spoke.

World English Bible
As the appearance of the rainbow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness all around. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of Yahweh. When I saw it, I fell on my face, and I heard a voice of one that spoke.

Young's Literal Translation
As the appearance of the bow that is in a cloud in a day of rain, so is the appearance of the brightness round about.

Hunger and sin and temptation, and wider still, that tragic word which includes them all--evil. Forgiveness and

For this, which may be understood also figuratively, is said to the former, Children, obey your parents in the Lord: but to
