But Isaac said, "Your brother was here, and he tricked me. He has taken away your blessing."
"Do not spread slanderous gossip among your people. "Do not stand idly by when your neighbor's life is threatened. I am the LORD.
Neighbors lie to each other, speaking with flattering lips and deceitful hearts.
Those who refuse to gossip or harm their neighbors or speak evil of their friends.
I will not tolerate people who slander their neighbors. I will not endure conceit and pride.
Hiding hatred makes you a liar; slandering others makes you a fool.
People may cover their hatred with pleasant words, but they're deceiving you.
