How those are to be Admonished who Decline the Office of Preaching Out of Too Great Humility, and those who Seize on it with Precipitate Haste.
The same happens to all who forget God. The hopes of the godless evaporate.
Their confidence hangs by a thread. They are leaning on a spider's web.
The wicked will see this and be infuriated. They will grind their teeth in anger; they will slink away, their hopes thwarted.
The hopes of the godly result in happiness, but the expectations of the wicked come to nothing.
The godly are rescued from trouble, and it falls on the wicked instead.
