They tell the seers, "Stop seeing visions!" They tell the prophets, "Don't tell us what is right. Tell us nice things. Tell us lies.
During these persecutions, little help will arrive, and many who join them will not be sincere.
If you serve Christ with this attitude, you will please God, and others will approve of you, too.
They are headed for destruction. Their god is their appetite, they brag about shameful things, and they think only about this life here on earth.
