Brothers, if someone is caught in a trespass, you who are spiritual should restore him with a spirit of gentleness. But watch yourself, or you also may be tempted.1Brothers, if someone is caught in any wrongdoing, you who are spiritual should restore such a person with a gentle spirit, watching out for yourselves so you also won't be tempted.
Carry one another’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.2Carry one another's burdens; in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.
If anyone thinks he is something when he is nothing, he deceives himself.3For if anyone considers himself to be something when he is nothing, he deceives himself.
Each one should test his own work. Then he will have reason to boast in himself alone, and not in someone else.4But each person should examine his own work, and then he will have a reason for boasting in himself alone, and not in respect to someone else.
For each one should carry his own load.5For each person will have to carry his own load.
Nevertheless, the one who receives instruction in the word must share in all good things with his instructor.6The one who is taught the message must share all his good things with the teacher.
Do not be deceived: God is not to be mocked. Whatever a man sows, he will reap in return.7Don't be deceived: God is not mocked. For whatever a man sows he will also reap,
The one who sows to please his flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; but the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.8because the one who sows to his flesh will reap corruption from the flesh, but the one who sows to the Spirit will reap eternal life from the Spirit.
Let us not grow weary in well-doing, for in due time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.9So we must not get tired of doing good, for we will reap at the proper time if we don't give up.
Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to the family of faith.10Therefore, as we have opportunity, we must work for the good of all, especially for those who belong to the household of faith.
See what large letters I am using to write to you with my own hand!11Look at what large letters I use as I write to you in my own handwriting.
Those who want to make a good impression outwardly are trying to compel you to be circumcised. They only do this to avoid persecution for the cross of Christ.12Those who want to make a good impression in the flesh are the ones who would compel you to be circumcised--but only to avoid being persecuted for the cross of Christ.
For the circumcised do not even keep the law themselves, yet they want you to be circumcised that they may boast in your flesh.13For even the circumcised don't keep the law themselves; however, they want you to be circumcised in order to boast about your flesh.
But as for me, may I never boast, except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.14But as for me, I will never boast about anything except the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ. The world has been crucified to me through the cross, and I to the world.
For neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything. What counts is a new creation.15For both circumcision and uncircumcision mean nothing; what matters instead is a new creation.
Peace and mercy to all who walk by this rule, even to the Israel of God.16May peace come to all those who follow this standard, and mercy to the Israel of God!
From now on let no one cause me trouble, for I bear on my body the marks of Jesus.17From now on, let no one cause me trouble, because I bear on my body scars for the cause of Jesus.
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, brothers. Amen.18Brothers, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.
